Teguar’s medical tablets are designed to simplify life in the healthcare environment. They make it easy for personnel to pull up a patient’s medical records or to see the real-time patient vitals and information, before they reach the hospital for treatment.
These rugged and medical tablets are UL/EN 60601 certified and have an antibacterial coating to minimize bacteria growth. The touchscreen glass is stronger than that of consumer grade tablets, so they are better protected from drops while being handled. They have a fanless design for silent operation and are a perfect mobile solution for computing in the modern healthcare industry.
The TMT-5957-13 is the only tablet in Teguar's TMT-5957 Medical Tablet series. With a 16:9 aspect ratio screen measuring 13.3", this tablet is even larger than some of the panel PCs sold by Teguar. However, many are surprised when they first pick up the TMT-5957-13 and find it to be quite lightweight for its size, weighing less than four pounds (even with the protective corner covers on). The 1920 x 1080 full HD display lends itself perfectly to desktop docking, at which point it can act as the 2nd or 3rd screen of a full desktop display while it charges. And like all devices offered in Teguar's medical computer catalog, the TMT-5957-13 is UL-60601 medically certified and has a drop rating of 6ft, so it can handle the rigors of heavy and fast-paced healthcare facility usage.
The Medical Tablet Series is composed of highly durable materials, making it a reliable device in a slim form factor that is certified to meet the stringent requirements of the 60601 medical standard. It also meets the MIL-STD-810G military standard for ruggedness, making it ideal for healthcare environments where the device may be subject to harsh conditions. With Windows 11 installed, the tablet is equipped with a powerful Qualcomm SC7180 Octa Core processor, enabling it to handle complex medical applications with ease. The device also boasts an impressive 10-hour battery life, allowing healthcare professionals to work uninterrupted throughout the day. This tablet’s durability, reliability, and lightweight design make it an excellent choice for hospitals, clinics, and other healthcare settings.
The Android Medical Tablet series is an advanced and practical solution designed specifically for the medical industry. Powered by the latest Android 11 operating system with access to Google Mobile Services (GMS), this tablet ensures seamless integration with essential medical applications. The tablet runs on an Octa-core processor, which allows for smooth performance even when handling complex medical data. Despite its thin and sleek design, the tablet is remarkably durable, boasting a Mil-STD-810H rating for reliable operation in challenging environments. With an IP65 rating, it is resilient against water and dust.
Teguar medical tablets are designed to be compatible with a variety of mobile healthcare applications and environments. A crucial factor of a medical computing device is that it requires IEC/EN/UL 60601-1 certifications. Teguar healthcare tablets are up to date on this electronic safety certification. Whether they are used with a medical tablet cart system, patient identification, electronic health records (EHR), remote patient monitoring, or Electronic Patient Care Reporting (EPCR), our healthcare tablets have options which meet your requirements. Added docking stations give clinicians the ability to connect tablet accessories and availability to mount tablets in multiple configurations. Teguar can tailor product designs to fit your application running customized or standard medical software.

How do medical tablet PCs differ from iPads in healthcare applications?
Medical PC Hardware Designed for Telehealth
Medical tablets are used by practitioners in hospital environments, where the exposure to germs and bacteria is much higher than other devices. To prevent further bacteria growth, an anti-microbial coating or mixture is incorporated into the design. Your mobile computer will not become a mobile germ device.

Hospital Computers: 4 Critical Features You Need
Sanitation is ongoing in the medical field and several of the cleaning chemicals used can be harsh on consumer-grade tablet PCs. Without medical grade plastics and materials, over time degradation and cracking from the chemicals will appear on a non-medical tablet. This can be unsafe for nurses, doctors, and patients, as it exposes them to sharp edges and creates a space for germs to fester. Teguar’s medical tablet computers are resistant to a variety of cleaning chemicals and have an IP-rated waterproof design so they can be sanitized with wipes, sprays and liquids, without damaging the tablet.
