The TS-4510 Series is designed from the ground up to handle food processing and repeated cleanings. A full flush front means no crevices where debris and dirt can build up and the heavy duty stainless steel bezel protects the unit from impact better than the competition. These waterproof PCs have a slim design, only 2.3 inches thick. The computers have downward facing I/Os that serve to protect the M12 I/O ports from damage, as they are less likely to get hit during the workflow of a production floor. This I/O design also allows for flush mounting to walls.
The TS-4510 Series is IP66 and IP69K rated, meaning it can handle high-temperature, high-pressure waterjets from all angles. Waterjet spray is used for sanitation in the food and beverage, pharmaceutical, and clean room industries. These computers have the option to be IP67 rated, which allows you to submerge the computer in water.
To ensure a fully waterproof design, the TS-4510 Series has durable and waterproof connectors that can easy be connected in the field with no tools. High strength alloy metal is used for the M12 metal connectors. The computer can be pressure washed with the I/O connectors and power supply plugged in. No need to unplug or cover the computer with a bag.
Most food and beverage manufacturers prefer a 5-wire resistive touchscreen. Resistive touchscreens are reactive to many different objects, including any type of glove, as long as sufficient pressure is applied. These PCs are available with projected capacitive as well, a more reactive and multi-point touchscreen. The full flat front of the TS-4510 Series prevents particle and bacteria buildup, which is essential for maintaining a clean facility or clean room.
The TS-4510 Series can accommodate a high bright, 1000 nit LCD with auto-dimming and optical bonding. This allows users to easily read information off the screen, even at outdoor computer stations or next to bright work lights. In most indoor settings, the typical brightness of around 350 nits is plenty, but under sunlight or bright overhead lights, the screen can look too dim, or light can glare off the screen, making it difficult for the user to see the screen. A 1000 nit LCD upgrade solves this problem.

The TS-4510s are housed in SUS304 stainless steel. This steel is resistant to oxidization through alkali, acid, or water corrosion, and it’s resistant to bacterial growth. In places such as chemical factories, where strong industrial solvents are used, or the computer is exposed to salt water, you can upgrade this PC to SUS316L stainless steel, which enhances corrosion resistance. Our bezels are also thicker than the competition, so our units can handle dings and dents without compromising structural integrity of the unit or the waterproof seal.
