The TSX-5010-15 is C1D2, ATEx Zone 2, and IECEx certified, as well as IP66 / NEMA 4X compliant. This explosion proof computer runs on an Intel Skylake processor and has a 15” resistive touchscreen. The TSX-5010-15 is built for applications in hazardous areas such as mining, chemical manufacturing, and refineries.
This AIO is fully enclosed in a SUS304 stainless steel housing. This steel is resistant to oxidization through alkali, acid, or water corrosion, and is resistant to bacterial growth. In places with harmful gasses, it is important that the housing will withstand the mix of chemicals and moisture that may be present.
These computers are fully waterproof, even down to the I/Os, with stainless steel I/O covers. These PCs can withstand daily wash downs and regular subjection to cleaning chemicals.
The TSX-5010-15 has a WIFI antenna with a robust structure that will not be easily broken. The waterproof antenna carries the WiFi and Bluetooth 4.0 signals for wireless connectivity. A flat structure and smooth surface make the antenna easy to clean and hard to break.
C1D2 units are difficult to find with Intel Core i series high performance processing. The TSX-5010-15 unit fits that niche and will allow you to run demanding programs in demanding environments.
With the ability to add a panel mount option to the front bezel, the TSX-5010-15 can fit in a variety of locations. Now you can use the same computer to fulfill your needs both as a standalone unit exposed on all sides and also as a unit mounted into a cabinet.
