The TRT-5180 Series of Rugged Tablets runs on an Intel Kabylake or Skylake dual core processor. This series is available with a 10.1" or 12.2" Pcap touchscreen. These tablet PCs are housed in durable shock and drop proof enclosures. They are also water and dust proof, for use outdoors, in all weather conditions, or use in humid or wet manufacturing facilities. The 10" has an easy removable battery, while the 12" has a hot-swappable battery. The TRT-5180 Series has a variety of I/Os and connectivity options. These industrial tablets are designed to keep you connected, wherever you go.
The optional docking station with a battery bay provides extra inputs and outputs including 1x 12V DC Jack, 1x Ethernet Port, 2x USB 2.0 Ports, and 1x RS-232.
The TRT-5180 Series has built-in Bluetooth 4.2, Wi-Fi, GPS Ublox 7, and 3G/4G LTE/5G Sub6, and it can be configured with an optional RFID scanner, so you'll be connected wherever you go with this tablet.
Both of the tablets in the TRT-5180 Series have an options including an integrated 1D/2D barcode scanner, a hand strap and an X-VESA mounting kit. The TRT-5180-12 also has an optional detachable kickstand and keyboard.
The 10-point projected capacitive touchscreen uses Corning Gorilla glass to provide anti-scratch protection. This highly durable glass is extremely strong and can withstand accidental drops. For use in outdoor conditions, an optional sunlight-readable upgrade is available.
These tablets comply with the MIL-STD-810G standards indicating exceptional protection from drops and vibrations. They will withstand the rigors of the harshest working environments.
The internal components of these rugged tablets are protected from dust and spraying water or rain with the IP65 ingress protection (IP) rating. The TRT-5180 Series is designed to keep out water, dirt and dust.
The TRT-5180-12 has a hot-swappable battery, so changes can be made without interruption to the system. Battery access is designed to be quick, convenient and secure.
The optional keyboard provides the flexibility to use this rugged tablet for extended time at any desk-type surface. The rugged tablet keyboard comes with an attachable kickstand, touchpad mouse, 2x USB 2.0, and a magnetic latch for closure. The keyboard attaches to the rugged tablet pc with two screws included in the kit.
