The TMT-5957-13 is the only tablet in Teguar's TMT-5957 Medical Tablet series. With a 16:9 aspect ratio screen measuring 13.3", this tablet is even larger than some of the panel PCs sold by Teguar. However, many are surprised when they first pick up the TMT-5957-13 and find it to be quite lightweight for its size, weighing less than four pounds (even with the protective corner covers on). The 1920 x 1080 full HD display lends itself perfectly to desktop docking, at which point it can act as the 2nd or 3rd screen of a full desktop display while it charges. And like all devices offered in Teguar's medical computer catalog, the TMT-5957-13 is UL-60601 medically certified and has a drop rating of 6ft, so it can handle the rigors of heavy and fast-paced healthcare facility usage.
Why simply charge your tablet when you can instead convert it into a desktop computer? By plugging in displays to your dock, you can effectively turn your TMT-5759-13 into a three-screen desktop workstation. Then, once your medical tablet has fully charged, it'll be ready to undock for mobile operation again.
The TMT-5957-13's unique docking station (sold separately) not only charges the tablet, but it also features IO adaptors for two USB 3.0 slots, HDMI, DisplayPort, and even an RJ45 jack for wired network connection. Utilizing one of these inputs is the same as plugging directly into the tablet's I/Os whenever the tablet is docked, meaning the dock's I/O ports can save countless hours of plugging and unplugging whenever stationary use is preferred.
Since the TMT-5957-13's screen size is so large, why not consider VESA mounting this tablet as if it were a Panel PC? Using the custom VESA mounting bracket accessory (sold separately), the TMT-5957-13 can be quickly and easily converted into a more permanent display screen solution.
