The TMT-4391-08 is a medically certified 8" tablet PC. This medical tablet has an IP65 waterproof rated bezel and is compact enough to fit in your coat pocket. It has a PCAP touch screen and expansion area that allows for a diverse set of add-on modules, including a magnetic stripe reader, smart card reader, barcode scanner, and more. This tablet has two docking options that provide further expansion capabilities to expand I/O and multi-bay charging options. The TMT-4391-08 meets the latest 60601-1 4th edition medical certification and is housed in antimicrobial plastic. It also has a removable battery with 8+ hours of run time, which can easily be swapped for a fully charged battery. The TMT-4391-08 is a reliable, mobile device for Barcode Medication Administration (BCMA), Electronic Medical Records (EMR), clinician communication, inventory tracking, and more.

The Intel Quad Core x5-Z8350 CPU allows the TM-4391-08 to run both Windows 10 IoT and Android 6.0 operating systems.
One battery provides 8+ hours of run time and can be swapped with a fully charged battery in seconds. Four batteries can charge in the four bay battery charger, so the tablet can be used throughout the day and night, without ever resting to charge. For when continuous use is not needed, an optional six bay tablet charger can charge the TMT-4391-08.
The expansion area allows for peripherals to be integrated right into the tablet. The TMT-4391-08 can accommodate features like a barcode scanner, magnetic stripe reader and smart card reader. Built in features can include a G-sensor, gyroscope, ALS sensor, camera, microphone, GPS and 4G, ideal for first response situation
The TMT-4391-08 has an optional hand strap, shoulder strap, and stylus pen, for additional ease and comfort. The standard housing is white and blue, while the all-white housing can be ordered on a project-by-project basis.
This medical tablet is more durable than usual consumer grade tablets. The TMT-4391-08 has a scratch-resistant touch screen and durable, IP65 rated bezel that can withstand harsh cleaning chemicals and is resistant to spills and splashes. The fanless design also protects internal parts from dust and particle build up, allowing for a longer lifecycle.
The TMT-4391-08 comes with two VESA docking options. The docking stations hold the tablet in place during busy shift changes or hectic patient care situations. One docking option comes with extra IOs that can connect the tablet with peripherals and also charge the tablet while it is in use.
