Home Industrial Computers Industrial Displays

Teguar’s industrial touchscreen monitors are rugged solutions that meet the requirements for the most demanding industrial applications. An industrial display can be connected to any computer, but most often times these touch screen monitors are connected to an embedded box PC. They can also be connected to an all-in-one panel computer, where they can act as a cloned display or dual screen monitor.

Industrial Monitors - Mountable Anywhere

These versatile industrial displays can be mounted into control cabinets, integrated onto an OEM machine, or used in a manufacturing environment. Industrial touchscreen monitors provide a graphical user interface where you may perform tasks such as, operate a machine, view sensor data, or interact with ERP software. These rugged industrial displays have I/Os including VGA, DVI, HDMI, and DisplayPort, so you can easily integrate your touchscreen monitor with your system.

The Teguar Difference

Industrial displays are made with the same industrial components as our industrial all-in-one PCs. So, they can withstand vibrations, shocks, and extreme temperatures, in which consumer grade computers cannot operate. These rugged touchscreen displays can be panel mounted into an enclosure, or the VESA mounting holes can be used to attach them to an arm, stand, or hung on a wall. They include an IP66 rated front bezel, so they are protected from liquids, when they are panel mounted into a cutout in an enclosure, Hoffman box, or electrical cabinet door. The fanless design protects them from dust and other airborne contamination that would otherwise damage electrical components, and the rugged die-cast aluminum enclosure offers reliable protection from mechanical shock and vibration. These models have a wide operating temperature, and extended operating temperature options are available for outdoor applications or other extreme environments. They include a wide range 9~36VDC terminal block power input that enables them to be easily connected directly to a DC voltage source, and an external AC-to-DC power supply is available for settings where only AC power is available.

The Teguar Difference

Teguar’s rugged industrial monitors are available in screen sizes ranging from 7” to 21.5” to meet the LCD size and resolution requirements for most touchscreen monitor applications. The smaller LCD screen sizes offers you an interface that is a common requirement for many OEM equipment applications. The larger LCD sizes are available with full HD 1920x1080 resolution that may be required for dense GUI (graphical user interface) software applications for sensor monitoring and machine control. TD-45 models with 10.1” or smaller industrial LCDs include both VGA and DVI video inputs. The 12.1” and larger industrial monitors come standard with VGA, DVI, HDMI, and DisplayPort to connect with any computer or industrial fanless box PC.

The Teguar Difference

Industrial touch screen displays are available with either resistive or projected capacitive (PCAP) touchscreens. Both touchscreen options give you a full flat front bezel for easy cleaning and a sleek appearance. The flat front panel design is an improvement over other touchscreen monitors, as there is no recessed ridge between the bezel and touchscreen where contamination would otherwise collect. The resistive touchscreen option is beneficial for traditional touchscreen applications and is the most cost effective option. The industrial resistive touchscreen is pressure sensitive and can be used with both gloved hands and bare hands. The PCAP touchscreen option is beneficial for applications where multi-touch functionality is required, as it allows for multi-touch gesturing. A PCAP touchscreen is a harder substrate that is more resistant to scratches, and is a common requirement for public kiosk applications. PCAP touchscreens can be used with bare hands, thin latex gloves, or a conductive stylus. You can order Teguar’s industrial monitors with a protective glass layer in place of the touchscreen for applications where touch functionality is not required.

The Teguar Difference

Touchscreen displays are available with a variety of options that make them suitable for applications ranging from production floors to OEM equipment to outdoor computing. Every screen size is available with an optional 1000 nit sunlight readable LCD for viewability in direct sunlight and outdoor applications. These monitors can be equipped with an ambient light sensor, so they automatically dim to adjust for daytime and nighttime viewability. For outdoor applications, Teguar offers optical bonding, which enhances viewability and prevents fogging between the LCD and touchscreen in humid environments.
