Its sleek design integrates seamlessly with add-on modules such as 3-track MSR Fingerprint Reader, RFID Reader, 2D Barcode Scanner, 5 MP Camera with microphone, and Verifone® VX820 or Ingenico payment terminals. With full HD displays and responsive PCAP touchscreens, the TA-4840 is an excellent choice for POS and kiosk applications. It also offers a wide range of mounting options, including POS stand, printer stand, floor stand, and VESA mounting hole pattern for endless possibilities. Powered by a Windows 11 compliant Celeron J6412 Quad-Core CPU, the TA-4840 delivers a reliable and efficient performance.

This series is built to run the Windows 11 operating system. Windows 11 offers several benefits for industrial applications, including improved security features and a modernized user interface. The new operating system also offers enhanced support for touchscreens, making it easier to navigate for users. Additionally, Windows 11’s improved performance and efficiency should help the TA-4840 run smoothly and reliably.
The TA-4840 Series (excluding the TA-4840-12) provides a distinctive integration of a box PC and display by featuring a back area on the touchscreen that securely holds the box PC in position. This innovative design enables hassle-free maintenance and upgrades without needing to replace the LCD. The TA-4840 series is particularly useful for applications that are customer-facing, such as self-service kiosks or POS systems, since damaged touchscreens can be more conveniently repaired or replaced.
These computers offer numerous mounting options, such as desktop stand, floor stand, POS stand, and printer. With VESA 75 x 75 and VESA 100 x 100 mounting holes, these computers can be affixed to almost any stand, ergonomic arm, or cart, and can be mounted in either portrait or landscape mode to cater to a variety of kiosk and POS software. The TA-4840 can be tailored to your exact use case, featuring mounting areas and USB interfaces on all four sides for the 15-22 inch models and on 2 sides on the 12 inch model . These peripherals comprise of MSR, Camera, RFID, Biometric modules, barcode scanner, and Verifone or Ingenico payment terminals. This well-thought-out design is both practical and visually appealing, as it eliminates unsightly hanging cables and extraneous devices. Teguar is capable of developing a personalized module exclusively for you. Any accessory that can be connected to a USB port has the potential to be incorporated into the TA-4840 chassis.
The TA-4840’s front bezel is entirely flat, without any edges or gaps around the unit’s perimeter where dust, dirt, and debris usually accumulate. Moreover, the front of these units boasts an IP54 rating, which shields against water splashes. Because of this, they can be effortlessly sprayed and cleaned regularly.
The Fanless All-in-One PC Series computers come equipped with up to six USB ports, including two USB Type-C ports, two DB9 RS232 ports, fast Gigabit Ethernet, and one RJ11 port for cash drawer systems. Additionally, the series features proprietary FeDP connectors that can connect to an external Teguar monitor and provide Video, power, USB for touch, and audio through a single cable.
