Excitement builds around Pinnacle, all new Teguar Panel PC, with exclusive in-house demonstration

Teguar’s Charlotte headquarters enjoyed a visit this month from CEO Jonathan Staub, who is based in Switzerland with Teguar Europe. An important objective of his visit was to acclimate the team to our newest flagship product, as the first of the finalized units come into our inventory.

The product in question, and one of our most highly anticipated launches of 2025 as a whole, is our new Panel PC, the Pinnacle TP-4800. Staub gathered the team into the warehouse where one of the new units was set up and powered on for an in-house demonstration.

As the company’s CEO, Staub is not typically so directly involved in product development at Teguar. However, in the case of the Pinnacle product series, Staub has been an integral part of the design process, making critical decisions based on usability, functionality, and aesthetics to push our engineers to achieve what was once impossible in the industrial market.

Two Teguar employees admire the TP-4800 beside a TP-4845 on a blue workbench in the Teguar warehouse.

The Panel PC of the Future

There was another product on the bench beside the all-new Pinnacle TP-4800. It was one of our cornerstone panel PCs, the TP-4845. Seeing the two of them side-by-side, the difference in form factor was evident. Both had a 16” screen, but Pinnacle was inches smaller in diagonal length, and about half as thick, too.

Staub acknowledged the bestselling TP-4845, saying “This one is great. It’s been the standard up until now. But with [the TP-4800], we are bringing something that’s never been done before.”

Team members were invited to inspect the computer up close and interact with its high-resolution touch screen. Technical Product Specialist Nick Miller explained the carefully designed screen bonding process, which creates a tight seal between the touch panel and display. As a result, Pinnacle’s screen is bright, clear, and ultra-responsive to touch. Employees remarked that drawing on it felt like drawing on an iPad.

The Q&A

The sales team was ready with questions anticipated from their customers. “Since it’s so thin, is the screen going to crack when it’s drilled into a mount?”

Staub addressed the question by highlighting the extra reinforcement around the mounting areas, the bonded screen, and the seams of the unit. This design consideration, combined with thorough testing, ensures a stable mounting solution despite its compact size.

Miller answered additional questions and explained other notable features of Pinnacle, such as its ability to power with USB-C. This trait, paired with its form factor and 1000-nit bright screen, gives Pinnacle the look and feel of a modern consumer computer. Miller assured the TP-4800 “would continue to deliver the same standards of durability and reliability expected from Teguar products,” including fanless cooling via a finned heatsink on the rear and an IP66-rated front bezel.
