HOPEmatch Gives Gift of Stability and Teguar Computers
The culture at Teguar includes a Passion for both our customers and for our community. Our commitment to providing great products and services isn’t where our efforts stop; we’re also dedicated to charity, service, and empowering our team to give back.
Part of these efforts include our relationship with HOPEmatch, a local nonprofit organization. HOPEmatch serves those who are overlooked within our Charlotte community. Many families work hard to make ends meet, yet do not qualify for government financial aid. This is where HOPEmatch comes in, helping families by connecting them to essential resources such as food and household items, mobilizing volunteers to provide hands-on assistance, and creating a pathway towards stability through consistent care.
HOPEmatch’s mission is to connect families in need with hope, practical help, and lasting support through meaningful relationships and community partnerships.
Teguar regularly donates time to HOPEmatch with a group trip during the holiday season to wrap donated Christmas gifts. This year, Teguar took its contribution a step further with a donation of our all-in-one computers. These computers went to families and community members who use them for the basic high-speed productivity many take for granted. Some recipients include:
- A refugee family who has been using a broken laptop that cuts off all the time now has a computer where their 6 kids can take music lessons without interruption.
- A foster family was praying for a computer because the mom is in nursing school full time, the kids are homeschooled, and there was no way to purchase a computer. Now they have one. Their 16 year old said, “This is a God-send!”
- One of HOPEmatch’s admin volunteers sacrifices so much time for months to support the Christmas program. She was using a laptop that was constantly shutting off. It was taking her many more hours to do the volunteer work because of this issue. Now, she has been given the gift of efficiency and is so excited to continue to support HOPEmatch and her community with this gift.

Teguar had a record year in 2025, but our achievements go beyond the measurables of our business and we’re proud to continue to look for ways to give back to the communities where we work.”

Rather than offering one-time assistance, HOPEmatch focuses on meaningful connections—matching families with support systems that walk alongside them, encourage growth, and restore dignity.
