The Durable Tablet Series offers high speed processing in a rugged, shock and drop proof enclosure. With an 8” screen size, the TRT-4680-08 provides you with mobile computing solutions that can be taken nearly anywhere.
The TRT-4680-08 is equipped with numerous features that allow for the tablet to endure rugged environments. With being MIL-STD-810G certified, they are able to withstand drops and hard vibrations. These tablets have also been designed to operate in industrial environments in wide temperature ranges of -20°C to 60°C (-4°F to 140°F).
With an IP65 rating and a fanless cooling system, the internal components are completely protected as well. The TRT-4680 is dustproof and protected from water spray or splashes.
For reliable communication in the field, the Durable Tablet series comes equipped with WiFi 802.11, Bluetooth 4.2, 4G LTE, and GPS. This ensures that wherever you may take this unit, it will be dependable and work smoothly.
A removable battery also contributes to TRT-4680 users working efficiently on-the-go. The battery is easily swappable and rechargeable, allowing for an easy switch that doesn’t require you to power down your table and disrupt applications. This, along with the dependable GPS and wireless connectivity, creates an efficient workflow.
What makes this product stand out from other rugged tablets are the five function keys located on the front of the tablet. These keys include volume up, volume down, power, home, and one custom key. This allows for easy navigation and customization of your fleet of tablets.
