The First Rugged Tablet PC with 5G
Teguar's Intel Atom Mobile CPUs (power efficient) have lower processing demands and in turn provide longer battery life. These tablets will minimize down time with extended ability to transfer and collect data on the job. For applications not requiring a high-performance processor, the Atom series of X86 processors is a cost-effective solution verses higher Intel Core CPUs.
Teguar’s Core i CPU (high performance) offers price points between Atom CPUs and Core i CPUs, while comparing to Core i3 CPU performance scores. This hits the sweet spot for providing high performance with lower thermal power dissipation which allows for a thinner tablet with a passive (fanless) cooling system. Teguar’s technical savvy account representatives can help you choose the right processor for you needs.

Rugged Tablets Vs. Rugged Laptops
Some of Teguar's Rugged Windows Tablets have a hot-swappable battery, allowing users to swap the battery without interrupting daily processes. This means you don't need to power down the device to swap the battery. These tablets are designed to run 24/7. This is a great benefit for around the clock operation, such as in emergency response applications or for making rounds shift after shift.
Selecting an Industrial Computer for Your Manufacturing Environment
The total cost of ownership for a reliable industrial rugged tablet is less than the total cost of ownership for a consumer grade tablet, which has to be frequently replaced and may not cover all functions that come with a rugged tablet. Teguar can help you select the specific options needed to save money by purchasing only the features you will use. Rugged tablet accessories and modules expand your capabilities to speed up your business flow, transfer data at quicker speeds, prevent damage, and become efficient. For example, consumer tablets utilize an unregulated camera to scan barcodes from free software applications which take additional time to focus and are usually unconfigurable. Teguar products embed high-end barcode scanners, like the Honeywell N3600, which scans in milliseconds and can be programmed specifically to your business format.
