Teguar has received BIS certification for the TRT-5180-10 Rugged Table PC. The Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) sets standards for the quality, safety and reliability of products that are sold to India. Products achieving BIS certification will be marked with the symbol to the right.
Teguar received this certification by passing third-party quality tests. Teguar Corporation is an ISO 9001:2015 certified company. The International Organization for Standardization (ISO) is recognized worldwide for setting quality standards for various products, including computers and tablets. Teguar must pass regular third-party audits to maintain ISO 9001:2015 status.
BIS is the only organization in India which operates Management Systems Certification Scheme under an Act of Parliament. Being member of ISO, BIS takes part in the deliberations of the Technical Committee such as ISO/TC 176 and ISO/TC 207 responsible for formulation of ISO 9000 series of standards and 14000 series.
