Teguar's newest line of computers is designed to fit your unique requirements. The TA-5540 (Windows) and TA-Q5340 (Android) have a unique, modular design so you can configure them to your business.
These computers are more durable than consumer-grade PCs. They are fanless and have the same industrial grade components on the inside as our industrial panel PCs, however, they aren't housed in die-cast aluminum like our industrial computers. The TA-5540 and TA-Q5340 are designed for light-industrial applications, like on the shop floor, assembly line, or in a public kiosk. These series are available in screen sizes of 11.6”, 15.6”, 18.5” and 21.5”. The TA-5540 Series can run Windows or Linux on an Intel KabyLake-U processor with Celeron, Core i3 or Core i5. The TA-Q5340 Series runs Android 9.0 on the Qualcomm 450 Snapdragon CPU.
What makes these computers unique is the removable box PC that fits onto the back of the unit, as well as the plethora of peripherals that can be integrated into the housing. The removable box PC allows for easy serviceability and future upgrades, without having to swap out your entire computer. This design is also useful for public-facing applications, because if a user damages the touchscreen, it can be more easily replaced or repaired.
These computers also have expandability on all four sides of the bezel. Optional peripherals include MSR, 3-Track Magstripe Reader, Fingerprint Reader, HF RFID Reader, Supported Verifone® or Ingenico payment terminals, 2D Barcode Scanner, and 5MP Camera with mic. Integrating these peripherals right into the housing saves you the hassle of configuring separate modules and keeps your space looking clean and sleek, without cables everywhere.
Another great benefit of the TA-5540 and TA-Q5340 Series is their multiple mounting options. You can order the computer with a POS stand, printer stand, floor stand, or use its VESA mounting hole pattern to mount it onto virtually any arm, stand, cart, or to the wall.
Under all of these great features, you have a durable unit, built to last. These computers have fanless cooling systems, which is ideal in dusty environments or environments where you are serving food. Computer fans can clog with dust or debris, which leads to hardware failure. They can also push around dust, which is undesirable for a food kiosks and restaurant POS systems. The front bezels are full-flush, meaning there are no crevices around the perimeter of the unit. This makes it easy to spray for cleaning, because liquid cannot seep into the unit. It also prevents the buildup of dust, dirt and debris on the front of the unit.
