Full HD 22” panel PCs are now available with PoE (Power Over Ethernet) on the TP-2945-22 and TP-3045-22 models. This PoE solution is compliant with IEEE802.3at and IEEE802.3af standards and allows the panel PCs to be powered directly through standard CAT5E cables. This option is available with a pre-installed expansion card that includes one PoE LAN port and two additional USB 2.0 ports. The PoE expansion card converts the 48V input to 12V system power with enough current to support both the TP-2945-22 Bay Trail N2930 Quad Core Celeron model and the TP-3045-22 Core i3/i5 model. This Power Over Ethernet solution is beneficial in many IoT applications, as it minimizes cable requirements and I/O connectivity needs. PoE allows for a singular connection for both power and data, allowing the panel PCs to be deployed and connected with the same cable. This method is used for devices such as PoE cameras, vision systems, security cameras, building access and control, gas and fire alarms, digital signs, door locks, time clocks, and gateways.
