Rugged tablets<\/a> are a category of product that Teguar is very comfortable offering to businesses around the world. Since 2010, companies have relied on Teguar for tablets that are able to be dropped, stepped on, cooked, frozen, drenched, or otherwise abused in a number of creative ways, while continuing to turn on again, time after time. With such a reputation, it’s no surprise at all that Teguar’s newest series of rugged tablets have been deemed “Heavy Duty”. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Heavy Duty Durability<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

At first glance, one will probably assume that the moniker “heavy duty” applies to the durability of these tablets. And one would certainly not be wrong in that assumption! The TRT-5380 Series of rugged tablets are MIL-STD-810G certified, and can be dropped at any angle from as high as six feet (though we’ve heard of individuals dropping them from even higher) without breaking. And as always, Teguar has used thick Gorilla Glass screens, further earning them the heavy duty nickname.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Heavy Duty Processing Speed<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The name “heavy duty” can apply to more than just the tablets’ durability, though. As an improvement upon this series’s predecessor, the TRT-5180 Series, this line of tablets has been upgraded to an Intel Jasper Lake Quad-Core CPU. This translates to faster usage speed overall, as well as allowing for more sophisticated programs to be run using these tablets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Heavy Duty Versatility<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

If we allow “heavy” to mean a lot, and “duty” to mean jobs, this series of tablets is absolutely “heavy duty” in that it can take on a lot of different jobs. While we could never provide a full list of potential applications for the TRT-5380-10<\/a> and the TRT-5380-12<\/a>, we’re quite confident that they’re versatile enough to handle just about anything you’d like to throw their way. Thanks to a myriad of available accessories, like desktop docks, vehicle docks, optional 2D barcode scanners and even handstraps, you’ll be amazed at what is possible with the TRT-5380 Series of rugged tablets from Teguar.<\/p>\n\n\n
